About Green Architecture Club HCMC

The Green Architecture Club HCMC is established in September 2011, with the aim to provide a playground for all members who share the interest and passion in design and construction of Green Architecture in Vietnam.

With the support from HCMC Energy Conservation Center (ECC) and HCMC Architecture Association, during last four years, the club has grown to more than 300 members, successfully organised nine workshops on various topics such as Green architecture, materials, equipment and technologies. These workshops are successful platforms for networking and knowledge sharing on solutions and applications between colleagues, experts and companies working in the field.

In 2015, our members were invited to be part of the Expert committee to establish the Green Benchmark system for Vietnam Architecture Association.

We also regularly hold many professional networking activities such as site visits to Green projects (RMIT Univeristy, President Place Building, PouChen Kinder Graden, Green Square BigC, Vattanac Capital, Vista Verde, TTT Architects office and many more), guest lecturing at institutions (HCMC Polytechnic University, Can Tho University and Da Nang University, to name a few), speaking at professional workshops and conferences (Vietnam Green Building Council and ECC Energy Conservation Center), and successfully organising several quality seminars for members and colleagues.
