From 4th October 2011 to 1st November 2011 the second FuturArc Forum will be held in seven countries in South East Asia.

Green building and sustainability are sometimes regarded as fashionable, but are becoming more and more crucial in today's built environment. One of the main challenges of this trend has been to lift it from a niche to a broad application in architectural planning.

Designed as a high profile educational event for architects, consultants, engineers and developers the FuturArc Forum 2011 will focus on the principles of sustainable architecture. Moving beyond the usual "why" and "what" questions circulating in the green building arena, the FuturArc Forum 2011 will leap ahead and tackle the challenging questions of "how it is implemented" and "how can it be sustainable". 250 to 300 of the Nation's most active practitioners will have the chance to learn about green building and sustainable design first hand from leading architects, engineers and academics. The event will be accompanied by an exhibition showcasing leading innovations and achievements in green technologies.
